Overview:
A social tool that
is the world’s largest argument mapping and debate site, specifically designed for classroom use. It’s clear, visually compelling format makes it easy to follow the logical structure of a discussion and facilitates thoughtful collaboration. Kalos mission is to promote well-reasoned discussion online, and to that end, Kialo is completely free for educators to use with students. This tool is great for IB debatable inquiry questions and gathering primary research for extended essay writing. Teachers can assign tasks, including writing claims, responding to claims, voting on claims and embedding reliable sources.
